How to Choose Your Okapi Mascot Costume

The okapi is a rare pick that gets noticed straight away: the striped legs and soft, dark coat make it a distinctive figure for a zoo-themed event, a school show, a shop opening or a company stand. Our range of 116 models includes velvety, plush and cartoon-style versions, so you can pick the look that fits your audience.

Colors are where this range really offers choice. Browse natural browns and charcoal tones, or go bold with teal, lime green, cyan or golden shades. Some models carry stripes or a cartoon design, and one wears a swimsuit, which suits summer events, pool parties or seasonal promotions.

Each product page lets you choose the size, adjust colors, add your logo or text and select accessories. For a creation based on your own concept or sketch, our team guides you from design through production. You can also request a 2D sketch and approve it before manufacturing begins.

Comfort matters when the performer wears the costume for a long time. The structure uses high-density foam with breathable fabrics, and a complete costume weighs about 6 kg. Optional accessories include a built-in head fan, a cooling vest and shoes. Manufacturing generally takes around ten days, plus shipping.

How do I choose the right size for my okapi mascot?

Select the size that corresponds to the performer's height. Sizes typically range from S to XXXL for performers between about 1.60 m and 1.95 m, plus a child size. If in doubt, send us the measurements before ordering and we will advise you.

Can I add my logo or customize the colors?

Yes. On each product page you can choose the size, customize colors, add your logo or text and select accessories. For a 100% custom creation based on your own concept or sketch, contact our team and we will guide you through design and production.

How long does delivery take?

Manufacturing generally takes around ten days, with shipping time added depending on the destination country. If you need the mascot for a fixed-date event, tell us before ordering so we can confirm together whether the deadline is feasible.

Can the mascot be worn for several hours?

Yes. Our mascots are designed to be lightweight and breathable, and a complete costume weighs about 6 kg. We recommend regular breaks, especially in hot weather. A built-in head fan and a cooling vest are available as optional accessories.

Can I rent an okapi mascot instead of buying one?

No. Masticot.com exclusively sells custom-made mascots and does not offer rental services. If you need several mascots for the same project or event, contact our team for a quote tailored to your quantity and timeline.
